3D Digital Adventures: Keys 2025 - 2030
I was very fortunate to learn Blender as part of the University of Saskatchewan’s new “Shared Spaces” project. Later this summer the Shared Spaces app will be available and, through the magic of technology, people will be able to view Key 2028 in augmented reality.
These keys were made by adding cubes, spheres, cylinders, cones, and toruses together and then manipulating them with various Blender tools. I took pictures of a variety of things so I could add my own textures/colours to the 3D models. Key 2025 uses a photo of a gold picture frame, Key 2026 is regular Blender colours, Key 2027 uses a photo of a transparent blue plastic glass of water, Key 2028 is regular Blender colours, Key 2029 uses a photo of gold glitter paper and a photo of light reflecting off an old CD, and Key 2030 uses a photo of a wax painting I made decades ago.
Have a look at the keys on a computer screen here.
